Elizabeth Barraza

Elizabeth Barraza is an accomplished educator hailing from El Paso, Texas. Ms. Barraza received her Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. She taught Social Studies for 11 years as a Sociteacher for 11 years in El Paso ISD before moving to Austin, Texas. Upon arriving to Austin, she was recruited at a GEAR UP Counselor at Austin ISD. The following year, she accepted a position as an Assistant Principal where she served for two years. 

Ms. Barraza oversees the Business Office managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Budget Planning responsibilities. In her downtime, Ms. Barraza is an avid runner having successfully competed 14 full marathons. She is the President of the Sunset Valley Home Owners Association and the President of the Booster Club at Rawson Sauders School, a school specializing in dyslexia.
